CINESUB at the Oceanografic of the City of Arts and Science

The Red Sea Auditorium situated in the Oceanografic of Valencia will screen the winning works in the national and international festivals of underwater documentary film.

Under the name of CINESUB it will show, between the 15th and the 17th of May, celebrated international underwater film, in which shall be screened documentaries of well known and award winning directors from the latest edition of the World Underwater Image Festival of Antibes (France).

 
Outstanding amongst the works are, SuperFish by Richard Rosenthal, Special Prize of the Public and the Planeta Thalassa Prize, or The Last Journey, short film by Rafa González and Mayte Sánchez in which the whale killing is portrayed and condemned.

 
Other screenings which will be shown during the event are Sea of Nobody by Rafa Herrero, Shark Water by Rob Steward, Colour Talks and Fisheye Fantasy, series by Guy and Anita Chaumete, or A life Amongst Whales by the National Geographic.

 
Furthermore, in parallel, conferences on issues related with the underwater image and the submarine area of the oceans will take place, which will be led by speakers such as Leandro Blanco, Carlos Minguell, Rafa Herrero and Ángel Vallecido.
