Photographs, music and tributes commemorate the centenary of the Regional Valencian Exhibition
To mark the celebration of the centenary of the Valencian Regional exhibition and of the anniversary of the Regional Anthem, the month of June offers a full program to continue the commemoration of one of the most important historical moments of the city of Valencia.
The activities commence on the 4th of June in the Valencian Museum of Illustration and Modernity (
MUVIM), where the exhibition "Valencia 1900-1936. Collections of ABC" can be visited until the 8
th of September. For the occasion, the MUVIM will host a series of photographic images from the archives of the ABC daily newspaper that are devoted to the exhibition of the 1909, and other such images of other towns of Valencia. In the gallery works of the outstanding Masip Barberá, José María Cabedo Valero, Franciso Goñi and De Ernesto can be encountered.
An open air concert is the second activity that the city offers, to be held under the direction of Pablo Sánchez Torroella along with the Valencia Municipal Band, the coming 25
th of June in the Gardens of the
Music Palace at 20:15 hours.
The last event of the month will be the tribute to entrepreneurs and companies that have supported the regional exhibition.
