You will find that the Madrina 3 apartment is located in the heart of the historic centre and you will be able to walk to all of the main points very quickly. The apartment is under a minute's walk to the Central Market, and the Lonja, Quart Towers and City Square are within a five minute walk. The Cathedral, Serranos Towers and Plaza de la Virgen are just slightly further at ten minutes.
You could take advantage of the apartment's proximity to the Central Market if you have some culinary plans to fulfill because it is the best place to buy fresh produce in Valencia, but even if you don't plan to cook, it's a must-see anyway.
Walking towards the Cathedral from the apartment you will pass through the El Carmen zone where you will find one of the largest concentrations of restaurants, tapas and bars in Valencia.
Some examples within a five minute walk are "Tasca Angel" (Calle Purisima), "Jamon Jamon" and "El Molinon" (both Calle Bolseria), "La Taberna de Marisa" (Calle Caballeros), "Espai Visor Vegetarian" (Calle Corregeria).
The Turia river garden is also nearby at ten minutes where you can experience the world's only river bed turned public park and where you can follow the old course under the shade of trees all the way to the City of Arts and Sciences.

Walk 8 mins (700 m) to metro stop Ángel Guimerá (Lines 1, 3, 5) on Gran Via Fernando Catolico 15. Take Green Line 5 in direction MARÍTIM SERRERÍA for 6 stops (12 mins). Alight at Ayora station. Walk for 20 mins (1.5 Km).
BUS:
Walk 1 min (200 m) to the bus stop "Baró de Càrcer - Garrigues" on the corner of Avenida Baron de Carcer and Calle Garrigues and take Line 13 for 12 stops. Alight at the "Autopista Saler - Inst. Obrer de Valencia" stop.
How to get to: BEACH
METRO:
Walk 8 mins (700 m) to metro Ángel Guimerá (Lines 1, 3, 5) on Gran Via Fernando Catolico 15. Take green line 5 in direction MARÍTIM-SERRERÍA for 7 stops (14 mins). Alight at Marítim Serrería station and change to the tram (should be the same platform). Take the tram on line 5 in direction NEPTÚ for 3 stops (6 mins). Alight at Neptú station. Walk for 3 mins (300 m) to Las Arenas beach.
BUS:
Walk 2 mins (200 m) to the bus stop "Editor Manuel Aguilar - Baró de Càrcer" on the corner of Avenida Baron de Carcer and Calle Editor Manuel Aguilar and take Line 81 for 19 stops. Alight at the stop "Blasco Ibáñez - Serradora". Walk 280 m to the stop "Martí Grajales - Serradora" on the corner of Calle Serrería and Calle Martí Grajales and take Line 32 for 3 stops. Alight at the stop "Pavia - Platja de les Arenes".
