THE LAURIA APARTMENT IN VALENCIA.
In the Lauria apartment in Valencia you will enjoy a prime location in the bustling heart of the city from where you will have all the sights within a short walk, and in which you will have memorable moments with your companions on your private terrace.
In the apartment you will have use of one bedroom with twin beds and a double sofa bed in the lounge meaning that the Austria apartment could be a great choice for a group of friends travelling together. You will enjoy a brightly decorated interior with colourful wall prints and parquet flooring throughout.
You will find that the kitchen is fully equipped and that you will have the use of two hot/cold air-conditioning machines to ensure that you are comfortable at any time of year. Furthermore the building in which the Lauria apartment is located has communal heating during the winter.
You will access the Lauria apartment via a twenty four hour reception, manned by concierge staff, so you will feel perfectly secure at all times. Overnight the front doors to the building are locked but there is a bell which the on-duty concierge will answer to let you in.
THE AREA SURROUNDING THE LAURIA APARTMENT.
You will find that the Lauria apartment is set in the very centre of the main shopping area of town (Calle Colón) and that it is literally surrounded by fashion stores, shopping malls, department stores and also cinemas. You will also find that the area offers you plenty of eating options to cater for the many shoppers that fill the streets every weekend, and the people who work in the banks and offices during the week. Some examples are: Neco (Calle Pascual y Genís 9), Restaurante Commo (Calle Pascual y Genís 3), El Corte Inglés (Calle Pintor Sorolla 26), La Utielana (Plaza del Picadero de Dos Aguas 3), and Restaurante Marisquería Civera (Calle Mosén Fernandes 10).
You will also enjoy arriving at all the main sights in the histroric centre by foot with short strolls no longer than fifteen minutes, for example the City Square is just a couple of minutes walk, the cathedral or the Central Market seven minutes, and the Serranos or Quart gates fifteen minutes. Once you arrive at the cathedral or Central Market you will be entering the Old Town where you will experience narrow winding streets and an enormous variety of tapas, restaurants and bars.
Should your desire to sample the gastronomy on offer still not be satisfied, you could go to the wonderful Ensanche area heading towards the Gran Via Marqués del Turia and the Plaza de Canovas where you will encounter an area renowned for its street terraces with restaurants and tapas bars, where you can enjoy a lively atmophere all day and long into the night.
From the Lauria apartment it is possible to walk to the City of Arts and Sciences in approximately twenty five minutes and you will also find that the unique Turia river-garden is just a ten minute walk away where you could descend beneath the canopy of trees to enjoy a pleasant stroll perhaps to the City of Arts and Sciences, stopping off at one of the number of cafés to be found there.

How to get to: CITY OF ARTS AND SCIENCES
BUS (approx. 25 mins):
Walk 6 mins (600 m) to the bus stop "Navarro Reverter - Gravador Esteve" on the Avenida Navarro Reverter by the Plaza Portal del Mar and take Line 95 for 6 stops. Alight at the "Autopista Saler - Museu de les Ciences" stop.
How to get to: BEACH
METRO: (approx. 20 mins):
Walk 2 mins (200 metres) to metro station Colón (Lines 3 + 5). Take green line 5 in direction MARÍTIM-SERRERÍA for 5 stops (9 mins). Alight at Marítim Serrería station and change to the tram (should be the same platform). Take the tram on line 5 in direction NEPTÚ for 3 stops (6 mins). Alight at Neptú station. Walk for 3 mins (300 m) to Las Arenas beach.
BUS (approx. 35 mins):
Walk 3 mins (275 m) to the bus stop "Pintor Sorolla - A. Magnànim" by the Plaza Alfonso el Magnánimo in front of El Corte Inglés and take Line 32 for 17 stops. Alight at the stop "Pavia - Platja de les Arenes".
